The government of the state of Lagos confirmed in the state nine new cases of coronavirus. On Thursday, the State Health Commissioner, Prof. Akin Abayomi, announced this on his Twitter account.
On Wednesday the National Center for Control of Diseases (NCDC) reported 23 new cases.
“Twenty-three new cases of # COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos, 7 in FCT, 5 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Bauchi State” There are 174 confirmed cases of # COVID19 registered in Nigeria as of 08:00 pm 1 April.
Abayomi confirmed the rise, saying that Lagos State now has 91 cases of the disease.
